Eats
I stopped off at The Big Bend Cafe (528 9th Ave N, Golden, BC ) and had an amazing lunch. Salad was delicious and fresh, coffee was serve yourself, and the service friendly. The cafe has the feel of a lived in cottage and is a great stop for breakfast or lunch when you’re feeling a bit homesick. Free wifi also.
Sleep
Bonus factor: Sleep in one of the many ski in/out condos at the base of the mountain.

Wind down with a massage at Golden Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic.
I visited here after a serious knee injury and a week of riding. Got a massage, some quick physio treatment and was in top shape for the rest of my trip. Great staff and atmosphere.
