During a 3 week stint in Whistler, I practically lived at the Gone Village Eatery. With a local vibe and less tourists, this cozy spot is perfect for catching up with friends or reading the paper. The artwork displayed here is also amazing, I wanted to bring so many home!! (not enough room in the suitcase boo)
Organic teas and coffees, fresh baked goods, delicious soup, oh and they’re licensed! Prices are fair, and although it maybe be around $7 for a bowl of soup you won’t be feeling a pang of hunger for hours, they’re so hearty!
You also won’t find plastic cutlery or stir sticks here. Silverware and pieces of uncooked fettucine make great coffee stirrers!
My recommendations: Try the homemade soups that change everyday. Served with fresh bread you can’t go wrong. The jalapeno cheddar bread was my fave. Oh and the London Fog! Made with either earl grey tea or chai tea at your request, sweetened just a lil and mmmm steamed milk before I hit the hill=heaven.
